Risen Energy will supply modules to Sinopec's 361 MW green hydrogen demonstration project in Xinjiang, China, which is billed as the world's largest PV-based hydrogen manufacturing facility.
After winning a tender process, Risen will deliver its mono-PERC TITAN 650 W PV modules to the facility. The solar park will be powering a 20,000-tonne green hydrogen production complex in China.
Sinopec is also planning to include a spherical hydrogen storage tank with the capacity to store 210,000 standard cubic meters and hydrogen transmission pipelines with a capacity of 28,000 cubic meters per hour.
