Greenalia's Xesteirón wind farm (45 MW) has started the public exhibition phase after publication in Galicia’s Official Gazette together with the environmental impact study. The company estimates over EUR34 million (US$39.4 million) investment for the project.
The installation, planned in the municipalities of Chandrexa de Queixa and Montederramo, will feature ten wind turbines with 120 meters in hub height and 160 meters in rotor diameter, expected to generate more than 130,000 MWh per year, enough to meet the renewable energy demand of more than 32,000 families.
