EDP Renewables (EDPR) has secured a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Procter & Gamble (P&G) for 127.5 MW from two wind parks located in Spain.
The agreement will avoid over 130 thousand tons of CO2 emissions per year. Two energy parks are the 100 MW Peñaflor onshore wind farm in Valladolid and the 47.5 MW Sierra de la Venta onshore wind farm in Albacete, from which 27.5 MW are part of the PPA signed with P&G. Both projects are expected to come into operation in 2023.
Through the creation of these two new wind parks, close to 40% of the energy needed to supply P&G's plants across Europe will be produced in Spain and will come from renewable sources.
The acceptance period has started for the partial voluntary public takeover offer made by IFM GIF, as advised by the Australian global fund manager IFM Investors, for a maximum of 220,000,000 shares i...
