Greenalia SA is planning to develop the 24 MW Tourinan III-2 onshore wind project that will be located in the city of Pontevedra in the Galicia region of Spain.
The project represents a total investment of about EUR22 million (US$23.61 million) and will be equipped with five wind turbines of 5 MW each. Once operational, the project is expected to generate up to 92 GWh per year, which is equivalent to the consumption of 26,500 households, and which will allow to avoid 34,330 tons of CO2 emissions.
The Tourinan III-2 wind farm is currently in the public consultation stage.
