Spanish forestry and energy group Greenalia SA plans to build a 50 Mw Fonsanta onshore wind farm project that will be located in the municipalities of Bande and Verea in Ourense, Spain.
The project will have 12 wind turbines that will be installed within the O Vieiro zone, part of the Galician Wind Sectorial Plan. The environmental protection and technical viability of the project are guaranteed as specified in the project proposal and the corresponding technical assessments and reports.
11 of the wind turbines will have a 4.2 MW unit power and one 3.8 MW, a 112 meters hub height and a 150 meters rotor diameter. Greenalia plans to invest more than EUR41 million (US$43.50 million) to develop the project.
