Aquila European Renewables Income Fund plc has entered into an agreement to acquire the 30 MWp Tiza solar photovoltaic project located in the Almeria region of Spain for an undisclosed price.
The construction of the PV project has been recently completed by Aquila Capital, AERIF’s investment adviser, and the solar farm has started producing electricity. The project is designed to generate about 54 GWh of energy per year.
The transaction is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2022.
