Greenalia has begun the public exhibition phase of Levante wind farm, a 106.4 MW project to be installed in the municipalities of As Nogais, Becerreá, and Triacastela (Lugo, Galicia, Spain).
The clean wind energy production will avoid the consumption of over 28,000 tons of oil, as well as the emission of more than 121,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, with the resulting environmental benefits. In this way, the equivalent of over 82,000 families can be supplied through renewable sources.
The wind farm will have 19 wind turbines, with 127.5 meters hub height and 145 meters of rotor diameter. In total, this installation will mean a EUR77 million (US$81 million) investment.
