Matrix Renewables has secured financing for a 129 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Spain's Huelva province. Natixis, a French lender, provided the US$89 million fund certified as a green loan.
This project will result in the construction of three solar plants in the municipality of Almonte. Matrix intends to add energy storage soon following commissioning.
The plants are expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2023.
