Greenalia is planning to develop the Santa Anna I solar photovoltaic project, with an installed capacity of 50 MW, located in the municipality of the Monforte del Cid in Alicante, Spain.
The Santa Anna I represents a total investment of about EUR35 million (US$36.82 million) and will be equipped with a total of 84,696 panels. Once operational, the facility will have an annual production of 106,970 MWh, a figure that is equivalent to the energy consumption of about 20,300 families, and will offset about 14,700 tonnes of CO2 emission.
Greenalia has complemented the project with an Environmental Impact Study (EIA).
