Omega Geracao SA has completed the acquisition of the EA III – Centrais Eolicas Assurua III SPE SA, which owns the 50MW Assurua III Wind Complex from Fundo de Investimentos em Participacoes em Infraestrutura Energias Renovaveis (FIP IEER).
The wind complex consists of Laranjeiras III and Laranjeiras IX wind projects, in Brazil.
The deal represents about BRL19.8 million (US$3.8 million) in cash for a 10% stake in CEA III and a further BRL447,749 (US$85,613.9) upon the verification of the project's cash position.
