Voltalia signs PPA for 150 MW VSM 3 wind project

Voltalia SA has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with an unnamed Brazilian utility for the energy produced from the 150 MW VSM 3 wind project in Brazil. 

The project is owned by Voltalia with 90% stakes while the remaining 10% is owned by a local partner. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is set to supply wind turbines for the wind park while Dois A Engenharia e Tecnologia Ltda, Seta Engenharia SA, and WEG SA are set to construct the project. 

The commissioning of the facility is scheduled on the second quarter of 2021.
