CADE approves sale of 50 MW Assurua III Wind Complex to Omega Geracao

The Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) has approved the acquisition of the 50 MW Assurua III Wind Complex by Omega Geracao from Fundo de Investimentos em Participacoes em Infraestrutura Energias Renovaveis (FIP IEER), an investment fund managed by Companhia de Energias Renovaveis (CER).

The wind complex consists of Laranjeiras III and Laranjeiras IX wind projects. 

The deal covers the transfer to Omega the entire share capital and voting capital of CEA III, and, indirectly, of the two companies that make up the Assuruá III Complex that is currently held by FIP IEER.
