Equinor and Australian and Oceanex Energy have partnered for the development of offshore wind projects in New South Wales, Australia.
Oceanex has spent several years preparing the ground for the Hunter Valley (Novocastrian Offshore Wind Farm), Illawarra (Illawarra Offshore Wind Farm), and South Coast (Eden Offshore Wind Farm).
Once the necessary declared areas have been proclaimed by the Commonwealth Government, the two companies plan to file applications for offshore wind farm feasibility licenses in these locations.
