Apple signs power purchase agreement with Upper Burdekin Wind Farm in Queensland

Apple Inc. has signed a power purchase agreement with Windlab Pty Ltd., the developer and operator of the 600 MW Upper Burdekin Wind Farm project located in Gugu Badhun county, Queensland, Australia. 

The contracted power amounts to the equivalent of the consumption of about 80,000 homes annually. The project is expected to be operational by 2026. 

Windlab Pty Ltd. is a joint venture of Squadron Energy and Federation Asset Management.
