Windlab Pty Ltd has secured an indigenous land use agreement with the Gugu Badhun Aboriginal nation for the development of the 600 MW wind farm project in North Queensland, Australia.
The Upper Burdekin wind farm will be constructed on the pastoral land in the state’s Badhun county. The facility will have 100 turbines to generate enough power for up to 300,000 Australian households.
