Eolus has announced its investment decision for the 100 MW Pome battery storage project in the US. The stand-alone energy storage facility will be located in San Diego County, California. The project has been under development by Eolus North America since 2019 and is expected to commence construction in the third quarter of 2023.
The construction of the Pome site is set to begin this year, with the intended purpose of commercial operation by Q4 of 2024.
