Eneva fully commissions 141 MW Brazilian CGGT plant

The National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) has authorized Eneva to start the commercial operation of the third generating unit of the Jaguatirica II Thermoelectric Power Plant in the Romanian rural area of Boa Vista.

The first gas turbine, which has an installed capacity of 48.653 megawatts, started operating commercially on February 15 and the plant started supplying energy to the Isolated System. The second turbine, with an equal capacity, gained permission to start operating commercially on March 9.
