Atlas Renewable Energy has completed the acquisition of a 378 MW onshore wind farm in Minas Gerais, Brazil, from Voltalia.

The Juramento wind farm will be made up of 63 wind turbines and will produce 1,650 GWh of wind power per year. The project will benefit 799,524 Brazilian families and avoid approximately 123,750 tonnes of CO2, the equivalent of removing 49,500 cars from the streets of Sao Paulo.

The Administrative Council of Economic Defense (CADE) in Brazil will review and confirm the transaction's structure.
