Enery has acquired a 65 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Poland, marking its entry into the Central European country. The greenfield project is situated in the Lower Silesia Province and is part of a larger framework agreement, which grants Enery exclusive rights to develop up to 500 MW of projects, primarily in the country's southwest region.
The project is currently in the development stage, with construction set to begin in Q4 2023 and commissioning targeted for Q2 2024.
The acquisition of the Lower Silesia Province project and the framework agreement with exclusive rights to develop further projects in the southwest region of Poland highlights Enery’s expansion plans for the local market. The company aims to establish itself as a significant player in the Polish renewable energy market, in line with the country's ambitious target of sourcing 23% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030.
