Erbud to construct O&M base for 1.2 GW Polish offshore wind project

PKN Orlen and Northland Power have awarded Erbud the contract to build their 1.2 GW offshore wind project's operations and maintenance facility in the port of Leba, in Poland.

The PLN50 million (US$11 million) deal entails hydro-technical work for the rebuilding of the quay and the construction of base buildings. There will be three or four crew transport boats stationed at the site. The construction will begin later this year and be completed in 2025.

Vestas will supply, install, and maintain 76 wind turbines, each with a 15 MW capacity, for the Baltic Power wind project for 15 years.
