The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has extended support to the 56 MW wind farm project in Zelechowo village in Poland promoted by Energix Renewables Energy Ltd through a PLN144 million (US$32.99 million) loan.
The loan financing covers half of the investment needed for the development, construction, and operation of the project. The wind farm will have 6 turbines that can generate enough energy to offset up to 95,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
Commercial lender mBank SA will also provide support to the project.
