VSB Group and Grupa Azoty S.A. have started exclusive negotiations for the sale of a 100% share of the Solarfarm Brzezinka sp. z o.o., the owner and operator of the 270 MW Brzezinka solar photovoltaic project located in Poland.
The solar project may be acquired by Grupa Azoty S.A. or its subsidiary once Grupa Azoty S.A. and the other parties to the agreement have agreed on the target business model and technical and economic parameters, and once the conditions precedent agreed upon during negotiations have been met. In the partnership exchange that will now follow, the focus is on the preparatory works, construction, connection to the grid, commissioning, and operation of the plant.
VSB, headquartered in Dresden, Germany, is one of Europe’s leading vertically integrated developers in the field of renewable energies. Its core business is the project development of onshore wind and photovoltaic parks, their operational management as well as the operation of its own assets as a growing independent power producer.
