Iberdrola secures EUR500m loan for renewable energy projects
Iberdrola SA has signed a syndicated EUR500 million (US$499.8 million) green loan with CaixaBank and BNP Paribas SA, with Cesce providing credit insurance.
The 15-year loan will support wind, solar photovoltaic (PV), battery, and transmission grid projects in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, and Poland.
CaixaBank and BNP Paribas structured, managed, coordinated, and underwrote the facility. CaixaBank also served as an agent and export credit agency coordinator. They both served as lead arrangers, bookrunners, and sustainability coordinators.
