ABO Wind has connected to the grid its 19.8 MW Donaborow wind project in Poland.
With nine Siemens Gamesa turbines, the wind farm generates green electricity for over 15,000 homes and prevents the annual emission of about 34,000 tons of carbon dioxide.
The majority of green electricity generated will be sold through long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA). Aquila Capital manages the wind farm.
