Better Energy has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Danish chocolate and confectionery company Tom’s Group for a 20 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Poland.
The solar PV farm is expected to generate up to 20 GWh of clean energy per year. The deal with Tom’s Group covers 1 GWh of annual energy production of the solar project which is about 15% of the power consumption of its factory in Nowa Sol in Poland.
The project is expected to start operation in Q4 of 2023.
