Enel Group begins operations at 200 MW wind project in Illinois

Enel North America has launched operations at the 200 MW Alta Farms wind project in DeWitt County, Illinois, USA, bringing its total capacity to 3 GW of new wind projects. The wind park is supporting Meta's DeKalb Data Center through a long-term power purchase agreement that secures power production over a 125 MW capacity.

Construction at Alta Farms commenced in 2021. The project represents over US$345 million of investment.
