Enel Green Power (EGP) has been awarded a connection approval for the solar photovoltaic with energy storage hybrid project located in New South Wales, Australia.
The project will have a 96 MW solar PV capacity and a 20 MW battery energy storage system and will be constructed in the newly declared Central West Orana renewable energy zone.
The construction of the project is expected to commence in mid-2023. EGP is part of Enel Group which is entirely dedicated to the development and management of energy generation from renewable sources at a global level, with a presence in Europe, the American continent, and Africa.
