The Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR) of Ecuador has extended the deadline for the delivery of documentation showing signs of interest by national or foreign companies that wish to invest in the 400 MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle Block project.
The modification to the schedule was the result of the analysis of the Technical Commission, on the requests made by the interested parties in this Public Selection Process (PPS). According to the PPS schedule, the publication of the prequalification act is scheduled for May 26, 2022, as well as the start of the acquisition of participation rights and access to the process data room.
The 400 MW Combined Cycle Block of Natural Gas contemplates the implementation of a generation plant and its corresponding associated transmission system up to the point of connection to the National Transmission System.
