Ecuador welcomes sole bid of Gransolar for Conolophus solar-plus-storage project tender

The Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Sources of Ecuador has welcomed the sole bid of Gransolar for the international call for tender for the development of the Conolophus solar-plus-energy storage project in Galapagos Island. 

Gransolar, in partnership with French renewable energy developer Total Eren, has submitted its technical offers to develop the 14.8 MW/40.9 MWh solar-plus-energy storage project. The economic offer will be evaluated on April 26 with the declaration set on May 3. 

The Conolophus solar photovoltaic farm and a battery storage system of 40.9 MWh located on Baltra Island, Galapagos. The project will be developed on a 25-year build-operate concession.
