CWP Europe is planning to start the construction of its newly acquired 134 MW Studina solar photovoltaic project located in Romania.
The project is expected to provide green energy to about 115,000 homes and offset up to 95,000 tons of carbon emission per year once commissioned which is targeted before the end of 2024.
The solar farm is part of the strategy of Romania to meet its target in its National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP. CWP has developed Europe's largest onshore wind farm, the 600 MW Fantanele Cogealac, which is also located in Romania.
