Capital Energy has closed the financing for the 39 MW Loma de los Pinos wind farm, located in the province of Seville. The loan of EUR21 million (US$24.6 million) was provided by Banco de Sabadell for a term of 18 years.
Specifically, the renewables group will equip the project with a total of seven GE wind turbines, with 5.5 MW of unit power and which are the most powerful ‘onshore’ (onshore wind) in supplier operation. These machines have a diameter of 158 meters and a hub height of 101 meters.
The wind farm is expected to commence operation in the first half of 2022.
