Endesa SA, through its renewable energy investment arm Enel Green Power Espana (EGPE), has completed the acquisition of a 48 MW solar photovoltaic portfolio in Spain from Arena Power.
The solar portfolio consists of solar photovoltaic projects located in Cordoba province. EGPE is investing EUR38.5 million (US$45.1 million) in the transaction and the construction of the solar projects. The construction works for the projects are set to start in 2023.
Ramon y Cajal has served as legal advisor of Arena Power for the deal, Voltiq as financial advisor, and ATA Renewables as technical advisor.
