Astronergy has signed a contract with EXIMPROD Grup to supply 200 MW of its PV modules to EXIMPROD's portfolio of five solar projects. This agreement marks the first collaboration between the two companies. Astronergy has stated that it will provide 200MW of tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) modules to EXIMPROD, with the first shipment taking place in June 2023.
EXIMPROD's partnership with Astronergy is another move toward reducing carbon emissions and promoting renewable energy solutions. It is planned that the 200 MW of modules will supply clean and renewable power, which will meet the energy needs of several Romanian households. The deal is expected to lead to the green energy company's expansion and growth in Romanian solar technology, which is in line with Astronergy’s sustainability goals.
