Juwi AG has started the commercial operation of a 10 MW solar project in an airfield, near Welzow, Germany.
The solar farm features 27,000 Astronergy panels and two central inverters from SMA technology. The project has already produced up to 350 MWh, since December of 2019.
The project is owned by LEAG, a joint brand of lignite-focused Lausitz Energie Bergbau AG and Lausitz Energie Kraftwerke AG.
