The national power sector regulator of Brazil, Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (ANEEL), has allowed the start test and commercial operations of seven renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 118.5 MW.
The projects involved are the following:
- 3 MW PCH Fortuna II hydro power project in Minas Gerais
- 5 MW Sola Maior 2 solar PV project in Tocantins
- 15 MW Umburanas 11 wind project in Bahia
- 25 MW Umburanas 19 wind project in Bahia
- 23 MW Sao Bento do Norte I and II wind project in Rio Grande do Norte
- 24.3 MW Delta 6 II wind project in Maranhao
