Engie Brasil Energia has received a go-ahead notification from power sector regulator Aneel to put online the final piece of its 360-MW wind power complex.
The 360 MW Umburanas complex involves 18 wind farms with a total installed capacity of 360 MW. It is located in Brazil's state of Bahia. It is comprised of 144 units of its 2.5-116 turbines.
The BRL1.8 billion (US$455.2 million) wind complex has first generated its power in January 2019.
