Zelestra has announced the full commercial operations at its 300 MWdc San Martín solar plant in Perú.

Delivered in under 18 months, led by Zelestra’s internal EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) division, the solar plant consists of 450,000 modules, will generate over 830 GWh of clean energy annually. This is equivalent to powering more than 440,000 homes and preventing over 166,549 tons of CO2 emissions each year.

Delivered on time and budget, the project now supplies clean energy to its customer, Kallpa Generación, via a long-term PPA. The clean electricity produced is helping to enable the company to continue diversifying energy sources for its clients in Perú.
