X-ELIO has brought into operation the solar PV plant Turroneros I in Xixona (Alicante), with a capacity of 35 MW and a EUR25 million (US$30 million) investment. This first stage of the Turroneros project has the capacity to produce clean energy equivalent to the annual consumption of 17,500 households and will prevent the emission of 25,068 tonnes of CO2 per year.
