Capital Energy has requested consent from the Cantabria regional government to develop the 51 MW Ribota wind farm project in the Cantabria region, Spain.
The project with an investment of about EUR36 million (US$42.9 million) consists of 12 wind turbines spread across the municipalities of San Roque de Riomiera, Selaya, Villacarriedo, Saro, Arredondo, Miera, Riotuerto, Entrambasaguas and Solórzano.
The project is expected to produce enough electricity to supply the demand consumption of about 56,000 homes and offset up to 54,300 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
