wpd awarded management contract for 17 MW wind project in Lower Saxony

Wpd Windmanager GmbH & Co KG has been awarded the management contract for the operation of the 16.8 MW wind park in the Lower Saxony state of Germany. 

The contract is awarded by Industrielle Werke Basel (IWB). The Hamwiede wind farm will be 60 km away from Bremen. wpd will be responsible for commercial and technical management of the seven Nordex N117 turbines in the wind farm. 

The project has been in operation since 2015.
