RWE announced the official inauguration of the 14.6 MW Beg Ar C’Hra wind farm, located in the municipalities of Plounévez-Moëdec and Plounérin, in Brittany, France.
The wind farm comprises four Nordex N117 turbines, enough to meet the annual electricity needs, including heating, of approximately 7,000 households.
The project was co-developed in partnership with the Lannion-Trégor semi-public company (SEM). This collaboration led to the granting of the environmental permit in 2022 without appeal. Construction of the wind farm began a year later, in the fall of 2023, with successful commissioning in November 2024.
