Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) has secured a EUR510.6 million (US$552.61 million) green bond refinancing of its minority interest in the 497 MW Hohe See and 112 MW Albatros offshore wind farms from eighteen institutional lenders in Europe led by the Talanx Group.
CPPIB, together with Enbridge Inc. owns a 49.9% stake in the Hohe See and Albatros wind farms, while (EnBW) Energie Baden Wuerttemberg AG holds the 50.1% stake.
Amsterdam Capital Partners acted as financial advisor to CPP Investments on the refinancing.
