EnBW Energie Baden Wuerttemberg has completed the installation of all 71 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines for the 497 MW Hohe See wind farm in the German part of the North Sea.
The Hohe See and Albatros wind projects will consist of a total of 87 of Siemens Gamesa's SWT-7.0-154 turbines. EnBW is now starting the turbine transportation and installation for the 112 MW Albatros plant north of the island of Borkum.
Once complete, the wind farms can produce energy enough to meet the demand of all the private households in Munich.
