Voltalia signs MoU for green H2, port investments in Rio Grande do Norte

Voltalia SA has recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The agreement aims to develop innovative projects in the state that will focus on the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives.

Voltalia's plans include the production of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and e-methanol in the state. The company's investment in the Green Industry Port, located in the municipality of Caicara do Norte, will promote and support offshore renewable energy production in the area.

This partnership is a significant step towards achieving a sustainable future, as green hydrogen is a clean and renewable source of energy that can replace fossil fuels. The project will not only reduce carbon emissions but also create job opportunities and boost the economy of the region.
