CNR has agreed with VOL-V, an independent renewable energy producer, the acquisition of its VOL-V Électricité Renouvelable (VOL-V ER) subsidiary, and all of its wind and solar projects and assets.
With the transaction, CNR has acquired a portfolio of nearly 1,700 MW of wind and photovoltaic projects in various stages of development. This merger allows CNR to accelerate the development potential of its exclusively renewable electricity mix, in line with its strategic objectives. It also strengthens VOL-V ER in the realization of its projects and the future of its team in a sector of renewable ENR.
For this deal, VOL-V Group was supported by Green Giraffe as financial adviser and CLP-Cliperton as legal adviser. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
