Singapore-based Vena Energy has started the construction of the Nakasato wind farm project located in the Aomori Prefecture.
With an installed capacity of 47 MW and a total power sales output of 36 MW, the Nakasato Wind Project will feature wind turbines with a hub height of up to 116.5 meters.
During its construction, the Nakasato Wind Project will create up to 140 jobs locally, and upon its completion will supply clean energy to approximately 22,000 households, while saving 104 million liters of water and reducing an estimated 65,228 tonnes of greenhouse emissions annually.
