The Government of Uzbekistan, through its Ministry of Energy (MOE), has released the prequalified bidders from the launched request for qualifications (RFQ) tender for the development of three solar photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 500 MW.
The projects are a 100 MWac photovoltaic (PV) solar plant in the region of Khorezm, a 150 MWac photovoltaic (PV) solar plant in the region of Namangan and a 250 MWac/ 63 MW photovoltaic (PV) solar and battery storage plant in the region of Bukhara. Out of 15 RFQ submissions, the Tender Commission has evaluated all the applications and has determined the following list of Prequalified Bidders to be invited to the Request for Proposals stage:
