The Government of Uzbekistan, through the Ministry of Energy, has launched a request for qualification (RFQ) tender for the development of the 300 MW solar photovoltaic project located in the Guzar district of Kashkadarya region.
The selected developer will build an approximately 1.5 kilometers 220kV high–voltage dual circuit transmission line to connect the project to the nearest substation. The government works in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in selecting the potential developer of the project.
