Trina Solar Co Ltd has announced to supply 268,200 units of the TSM-DEG17M 430/450 W double glass modules for the 120 MW Sunflower solar PV project located in Yaguate municipality, San Cristóbal province, Dominican Republic.
The US$100 million project is developed by Empresa Generadora de Electricidad Haina, SA, (EGE Haina), and selected Elecnor SA as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor.
The Sunflower solar PV project is expected to be operational in March 2021, and produce up to 240,000 MWh annually.
