InfraRed’s listed renewables vehicle, The Renewables Investment Group (TRIG), has completed the purchase of a 34.6% equity interest in an 87.8 MW portfolio of five wind farms and 100% interest in the 36 MW Epine wind farm located in France.
The wind portfolio operates under an inflation-linked feed-in tariffs (FiT) with French power company Electricite de France SA. Akuo Energy SAS will remain as the majority shareholder in Fujin SAS that owns the wind projects and continues to operate them.
The 10-turbines L'Epine Marie Madeleine wind project, located in the Hauts-de-France region, is acquired from private equity firm TTR Energy and German turbine maker Nordex. It operates under a 15-year inflation-linked FiT with EDF.
